Review by hotel critic
As a well-traveled photographer from Dublin, Ireland, my visit to Boutique Hotel Palea Poli left me with mixed feelings. the hotel's charm lies in its history, with a quaint feel that some may find endearing. Despite the cozy atmosphere, the value versus luxury balance is a bit skewed towards the latter. While the complimentary room upgrade for our anniversary was a lovely touch, the absence of certain amenities like in-room breakfast or VIP check-in left me questioning the overall value. the on-site restaurant, although closed on our visit, received glowing reviews, hinting at a potentially exquisite dining experience. The central location and picturesque surroundings make it an ideal base for exploring Naousa, but for those seeking a more lavish experience, the limited luxury offerings may not fully justify the cost. Overall, Palea Poli Hotel offers a quaint and comfortable stay with friendly owners, yet falls slightly short on the luxury aspect for its price point.
